LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Barbara Ann Barnett Miller, 69, was born April 24, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio and God called her home on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.
The daughter of Gladys Barnett Keaton and Thomas Lee Richardson and step-daughter of Wilbert Keaton, and granddaughter of Andrew Johnson and Barbara Ellen Barnett of East Bernstadt, Ky.
She attended Hazel Green High School, was a mother, homemaker and retired store clerk for the former Ruth’s Trading Post. She attended the Church of God in East Bernstadt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and a daughter, Brenda Miller Lewis; and a granddaughter, Amanda Joy Lewis.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Williams (David) Coot, of London; a son, Charles Stephen (Chris) Miller, Knoxville, Tenn.; a grandson, Thomas Glenn Williams, London; and a granddaughter, Jessica Williams and fiance’, Tony Gambrel and children Bella and Titus, of Corbin. She is also survived by three cousins who were considered as a brother and sisters, Louise Gill, Sharon Parsley and Dexter Parsley, all of East Bernstadt, Ky.
Visitation was from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at London Funeral Home chapel for the family and from 6 to 9 p.m. for friends.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the C.D. Ward Cemetery in East Bernstadt with the Rev. Christopher Myers officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter. She leaves behind four dogs, Tilda, Daisy, Pumpkin and Jack.
