LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Aliene Viars, 82 of Yonkers Lane in London, passed away Monday, Pct. 22, 2012, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Boggs and Alice Williams Boggs; her husband, William Viars Jr.; and two sisters, Sue Miniard and Lorene Lewis.
She was a homemaker and member of the London Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by four children, Danny Viars and wife Brenda, David Viars and wife Colleen, Sandy Bargo and husband Doug, all of London, and Johnny Viars and wife Charlotte of East Bernstadt; two sisters, Lexine Engle of Cleveland, Ohio and Opal Smith of LaFayette, Ind.; and one brother, Stanley Boggs of Bledsoe, Ky. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kim Brewer, Kyle Bargo, Melanie Britton, Jamie Viars, Kelley Kleppinger, Steven Viars and Kayla Bargo; eight great-grandchildren Noah Bargo, Abby Britton, Ethan Bargo, Maddie Belle Brewer, Janna Bargo, Luke William Bargo, Chris Britton and Brandy McKeehan; and one great-great-grandchild, Lucas Britton.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Brewer and Pastor Donald Tackett officiating.
Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery in Laurel County.
The family of Aliene Viars received friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. on Thursday.
