Frank Bruner

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Frank Bruner, 65, Lem Bruner Road, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at his residence.

A Laurel County native, he was born Aug. 28, 1944, the son of the late Lem Bruner and Thena Hammons Bruner, of London, Ky. He was a coal miner and member of Colony Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Darrell Bruner.

Survivors include his mother; two sons, Tony Bruner and Rick Bruner, both of London, Ky.; a daughter, Vickie Begley, of Somerset, Ky.; five brothers, Randall Bruner, Ernest Bruner, Charles Bruner, Ronnie Bruner and Kermit Bruner, all of London, Ky.; two sisters, Wanda Morgan and Sheila Pennington, both of London, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the London Funeral Home Chapel with George Poynter and Jerry Holland officiating. Burial followed in Frank Bruner Cemetery in London.

Pallbearers were Brad Jones, Jimmy Lee Jones, Ronnie Bruner, Darrell Bruner, Joe Bruner and Eric Broughton.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
