Connie Darlene Saylor

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Connie Darlene Saylor, 53, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

She was born June 26, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Lorene Browning Cornett.

She was a former employee of Micro Devices and was affiliated with the Slate Ridge Bible Church.

She was united in marriage to Kenny Saylor, her loving husband of 35 1/2 years who survives. She is also survived by a son, Anthony Denver Saylor of Lily, Ky.; two brothers, Ronnie and Roger Cornett, both of Lily; a sister-in-law, Doris Barton and husband Raymond of Woodbine, Ky., three grandchildren, Samuel, Mikilia and Jasmine Saylor, plus a host of loving nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Larry Callahan officiating.

Burial followed in Hopkins Cemetery, Lily, Ky.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help with expenses.
