Clarence Gene (Uncle Gene) Harris

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Clarence Gene (Uncle Gene) Harris, 62, Red Hill Road, Livingston, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his residence.

He was born April 4, 1951 in Laurel County, Ky., the son of the late Gwendolyn Robbins Wells “Mamaw Tucky.”  

He is survived by a son, John Harris of Livingston, Ky.;  two siblings, Lonnie Lisle of Oregonia, Ohio and Lorene Auslander of Connecticut, plus a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at his residence, 637 Red Hill Road, Livingston, KY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Plus, 208 Kidd Drive, Berea, Ky., 40403. In memo put to CCC in memory of Gene Harris.
