Peggy Lynn Hopper

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Peggy Lynn Hopper, 74, of East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Thurs. Sept. 20, 2012, at Saint Joseph London.  

She was born on March 11, 1938, in Knott County, Ky., the daughter of the late John and Edna Owens Collins.  

She is survived by her husband,  Winston Hopper of East Bernstadt, Ky.; two daughters, Robin (Kenny) Howard and Renee (Gary Tapscott) Deason, all of Birmingham, Ala.; three grandchildren,  Joshua Deason, Makenzie Hinrichs and Karli Howard; sister-in-law,  Vera Hopper of Hazard, Ky.; and niece, Peggy Steele of Hazard, Ky.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bowling Funeral Home with Mike Seals officiating.  

The family received friends from 1 p.m. Saturday until the funeral hour.
