LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Ollie Bowling Davidson, 89, of Pawnee Trail, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at her residence.
Born April 16, 1924 in Hyden, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Levi and Martha Wooten Bowling.
She was a homemaker and member of the East London Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Davidson; three sisters, Sarah Sizemore, Flora Griffith and Laura Bowling; and four brothers, Ford Bowling, Earl Edwards, Jackson Bowling and Bradley Bowling.
She is survived by six daughters, Norma Jean Bruner of Terre Haute, Ind., Bernadine Roberts and husband, Shafter, Brenda Hibbitts and husband, Ronnie, Lillie Osborne and husband, Floyd, Shirley McKnight and husband, Jerry, and Lisa Lee and husband, Don, all of London; two sons, Brian Davidson and wife, Pam, London, and Jack Davidson and wife, Pam of Underwood, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Ollie Bowling Davidson were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry McKinley Holland and the Rev. Jerry Holland officiating.
Burial followed at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Lily.
Pallbearers were Billy Bruner, Larry Spicer, Tanner Sibert, Shawn Osborne, Brian Davidson, Derrick Hammons, Jack “Bubby” Davidson and Jordan Pruitt.
Honorary pallbearers were Jessica Benge Bays, Rebecca Benge, Brody Osborne and Landon Davidson.
