Retta McKnight

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Retta McKnight, 96, of Jacksboro, Tenn., (formerly of London, Ky.), passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at LaFollette Medical Center. 

She leaves behind four children, Lewis (Mildred) McKnight of London, Norma Jean (John) Plumley of Mooresville, N.C., James Donald (Donna) McKnight of Altoona, Pa., and  Jerry Wayne  (Diane) McKnight of LaFollette, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Patricia McKnight. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar McKnight; parents, Lewis Tincher and Susan Garland Tincher; three children, Robert Ernest, Raleigh, and Luther McKnight; four sisters and five brothers. 

Funeral service for Retta McKnight will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 6 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Tim McKnight and Raymond McKnight officiating.

Burial will follow at Lincks Cemetery in Clay County. 

The family of Retta McKnight received friends after 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
