Anthony Shawn Fields

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Anthony Shawn Fields, 36, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2011.

Born Oct. 21, 1975 in Whitley County, Ky., he was the son of Buster and Jane Fields, East Bernstadt. He was a truck driver for Poff Carting Services, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Freedom Christian Fellowship Church.

He is survived by his parents; his wife, Jaymee Brown Fields, London; two sons, Joseph Brown and Elijah Fields, both of London; a brother, Johnny Fields, East Bernstadt; and a grandmother, Wilda Taylor, Indianapolis, Ind.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Ed Wayne Gibson officiating.

Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery, Laurel County.

Military honors were conducted and assisted by the local DAV.

Visitation was held after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
