LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Clara Thompson Miracle, 91, Laurel County, Ky., passed away Friday, April 19, 2013.
Born Oct. 31, 1921 in Bell County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Pearl and Linda Taylor Thompson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Brownie’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Bell County, Ky.
She was united in marriage to Otis Miracle Sr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Boyd Ray Miracle; a daughter, Clara Sue Nicley; and a brother, Boyd Thompson.
She is survived by five sons, Otis (Ramona) Miracle Jr. of Berlin, Wisc., James Miracle, Charles (Sandra) Miracle, Dean (Faye) Miracle, and Ralph (Vonda) Miracle, all of London; six daughters, Wanda Faye (Charles) Patterson, Pauline Lawson and Lorene Hammons, all of London, Loretta (Allen) Blevins, of Falmouth, Ky., Elizabeth (James) Duttlinger, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Kathleen Miracle, of Lexington, Ky.; 33 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Elder Eugene Wilder officiating.
Burial followed in McDaniel Cemetery, Laurel County.
Visitation was after 6 p.m. Sunday, April 21 at the funeral home.
