Richard Wayne Vaughn

Fork lift operator

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Richard Wayne Vaughn, 47, Oneal Road, London, Ky., passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at his residence.

A native of Laurel County, he was born Feb. 16, 1965, the son of Lee Vaughn, London, and the late Naomi Marie Goforth Vaughn. He was a fork lift operator for a lumber company and a member of Pleasant Valley Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his father; his wife, Flossie Holbrooks Vaughn, London; two children, Michael Wayne Vaughn and Allison Leann Danae Vaughn, both of London; a brother, David Vaughn, London; and three sisters, Betty Holbrooks, Joyce Krahenbuhl and Brenda Roark, all of London.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Steve Mullins and David Moore officiating.

Burial followed in Pine Creek Cemetery, Laurel County.

Pallbearers were Freddie Krahenbuhl, Jeff Krahenbuhl, Tom French, Jake Roark, Brian Parsley, Jamie Sizemore and Jeremy Holbrooks.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the funeral home.
