LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Leif Eric Sandkulla aka “Woo” of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
He was born on March 26, 1979 in Sanford, Fla., to Richard Klemmons Sandkulla and Carolyn Burnside Dickens Sandkulla Clay.
He was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Carmel Burnside and Ada Burnside and Gus Gufftison and Ida Gufftison Sandkulla.
He worked for Boast Oil Company and was a part-time carpenter.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a son Jamerson Keith Wallis; his longtime special friend, Miki Marie Strump and her two children, Eathen and Alexus Strump, whom he loved as his own; two step-children, Dekota and Sierra Wallis, whom he loved very much; his step-father, Earl T. Clay Jr. who raised him as his own son; a sister, Gloria Bowman aka “Biggen”; a step-sister, Sandra Gorman; a step-brother, Richy Sandkulla; several special nephews and nieces; two very special nieces, Mariah “Duck” Bowman and Michell “Mouse” Burnside and a very special nephew Justin “Little Doo” Dickens.
“I leave this world loving my Jami and all the kids but most of all, I had to leave Little Miki, my soul mate.”
Visitation was one hour before the service. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, W.Va., with the Rev. Tammy Pettry.
Following the service Mr. Sandkulla’s request was for cremation.
