LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Etsie (Lewis) McClure, 79, of West 16th Street, London, Ky., passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at her residence.
Born Sept. 25, 1933 in Clay County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Fayette and Sarah (Fields) Lewis. She was a retired waitress and member of Freedom Christian Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Otto McClure; two brothers, Able Lewis and Larkin Lewis; and three sisters, Frances Whittemore, Flora Buttrey and Mollie Lewis.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Napier, Linda Floyd, Norma Jackson and Anna King, all of London; two sons, Gary McClure and David McClure, both of London; a sister, Mae Williams of Corbin; a sister-in-law, Ethel Lewis of London; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Freedom Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Jerry Lewis, Doug Lawson, and Teddy Arthur officiating.
Burial will follow at Earl Bowling Cemetery, East Bernstadt.
The family received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 and will receive friends after 12 noon until the funeral hour of 2 p.m. today at Freedom Christian Fellowship Church.
Pallbearers will be Blake Gay, Jacob Lane, Bradley McClure, Gary McClure Jr., Chris McClure, Jeremy McClure, Jordan Adams, Steve King and Danny Smith.
