LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Elder Curtis Cloud, 73, Terrells Creek Road, London, Ky., passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Saint Joseph London.
Born Feb. 6, 1940 in Harlan County, Ky., he was the son of the late Evan and Virgie Woodward Cloud. He was a member of Terrells Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carl William Cloud; and a sister, Louisa Derrickson.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hurley Cloud, of Terrells Creek Road, of London; two daughters, Brenda Cloud Nicholson and husband, Johnnie, of London, and Sandra Cloud Simpson and husband, Steve, of Louisville; a son, Ralph Cloud and wife, Becky, of London; two grandchildren, Raymond Cloud and wife, Heather, and Holly Cloud Tate and husband, Steven, all of London; two great-grandchildren, Evan Tate and Maria Cloud, both of London; two brothers, Jimmy Cloud and wife, Anna Lee, of London, and Kenneth Cloud and wife, Sue, of Falls Church, Virginia.
Funeral services for Elder Curtis Cloud were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Reuben Lycans, Elder Murl Caudill, and Elder Bob Whitaker officiating.
Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Bemetery in Fogertown, Ky.
Pallbearers were Raymond Cloud, Johnnie Nicholson, Steve Simpson, Steve Tate, Sam Derrickson, Steve Lycans and Bobby Prater.
The family received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Monday.
