Elizabeth Roberts

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Elizabeth Roberts, 79, of London, Ky., passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at her residence.  

She is survived by one son, Joe Roberts; three sisters, Dorlis Kurpis of Lake Station, Ind., Kathy Minton, and Tevis Gilbert, both of London; two brothers, Arthur Gilbert of Paducah, Ky., and Danny Gilbert of Philprago, Ind.; five grandchildren, Chasta Roberts, Chad Roberts and wife, Jennifer, Clayton Roberts and wife, Natasha, Chase Roberts and wife, Kari, and Jeremy Roberts; and five great-grandchildren, Katelynn Cornett, Adelynn Roberts, Colton Roberts and two special angels on the way.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Roberts; her parents, Felix Gilbert and Pauline Tedders Gilbert; two children, James and Jerry Roberts; one sister, Mary Angeline Wagers; and two brothers, James Earl Gilbert and William Arnold Gilbert.  

Funeral services for Elizabeth Roberts will be conducted at 12 noon today, Friday, March 22, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brother Bill Wagers officiating.  

Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in the Blackwater Community of Laurel County.

The family received friends after 6 p.m. Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
