Orville Deliane Creech

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Orville Deliane Creech, 77, Cherry Hill Road, Lily, Ky., passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at his residence.

A native of Laurel County, he was born March 14, 1936, the son of the late Denver Lee and Emma Swanner Creech. He was a Coal Field Services/UMWA employee and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mourace Creech; and four sisters, Daisy Buttery, Lou Reid, Goldie Marshall and Ada Bryant.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Creech of Cherry Hill Road, Lily; five sons, Jeff Creech of Sicklerville, N.J., Roger Wagers, Randy Wagers, Jeff Wagers and Brandon Wagers, all of Lily; three daughters, Christie Gaines of Lily, Angie Miller of Gray, and Renee Jones of Corbin; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jewell Creech of Louisville, and Dorothy Creech of Indiana.

Funeral service for Orville Deliane Creech was conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Gaines officiating.

Burial followed in Dunn Cemetery with the local DAV in charge of military honors.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

The family received friends on Wednesday at London Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time.
