LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
William Eugene Westerfield, 89, of Annville, Ky., passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Caudill Westerfield; one son, Carl D. Westerfield (Gretha) of London; one granddaughter, Carla Michelle Williams (Jason); one sister, Lizzie Ruby Cress; and one great-grandchild, Jasey Michai Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Westerfield and Lucy Baker Westerfield; three sisters, Cecil Mae Johnson, Gladys Edna Riley and Alfa Jane Baker; and five brothers, Charles, Robert Clyde, Claude, Oscar and Walter Westerfield.
Funeral services for William Eugene Westerfield were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Manchester, Ky., with Dallas Riggs officiating.
Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
