Nora Jean Penix

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Nora Jean Penix, 47, of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Saint Joseph London.  

Born May 17, 1966, in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of Forester Baker, who survives of Keavy, and the late Ruth Burkhart Baker. 

She was a trainer for General Dynamics Information Tech-nology, and a member of Hawk Creek Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her husband, Jim Penix, of London; five children,  Coty and Helen Arnold, Aundrea Buttery and husband, Davy, Chad Price and companion, Daisy Harris, and Brandon Price, all of London; five sisters,  Helen Caudill and husband, Harold, Francis Witt and husband, Sam, and Juanita Baker, all of Keavy, Patricia Storms of Corbin and Christy Buttery and husband, Donnie, of Lily; three brothers, Hobert Baker, Wendell Baker and Forester Baker Jr. and wife, Tina, all of Keavy; five grandchildren,  Breanna Buttery and Trenton, Preston, Kaylie and Brandon Price, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were conducted at 12 noon Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Clendenen officiating.

The family received friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Friday.
