Nannie Bell Roark

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Nannie Bell Roark, 76, of London, Ky., widow of Rufus Roark, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at her residence. 

She leaves behind seven children, Judy Evans, Kathy Walker, Shellie Napier, Ricky Roark, Ronnie Roark, Beverly Blankenship, Michael Roark, all of London, Ky.; four sisters, Betty Roark, Anna Lee Smith, Pauline Taylor, Flo Pearl Bowling; one brother, James Overbey; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Roark; and parents, Jerry and Nannie Overbey. 

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Verell Root officiating. 

Burial followed at the Lickliter Cemetery.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
