Ronald Lee Cole

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Ronald Lee Cole, 63, of Albany, Ky., and formerly of Laurel County, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.

Born March 13, 1950 at Lily, Ky., he was the son of the late George and Lorene Warren Cole.

He was a pipeline construction worker, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Corbin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jim Cole.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Miracle Cole, Corbin, Ky.; two sons, Derek Cole of Corbin, Ky., and Josh Cole of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a sister, Della Rains of Corbin, Ky.; two brothers, Steve Cole of Keavy, Ky., and Wayne Cole of Albany, Ky.; and a grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 28 at London Funeral Home and continue until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with Steven Cole, Wayne Cole, and Major John Callihan officiating.

Burial will follow at Dorthae Cemetery, Corbin, with the local DAV in charge of military honors.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Cole, James William Cole, Richard Cole, Lee Hubbard, Jamie Gitzinger and Vincent Warren.
