LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Richard Leon “Rich” Frary, 68, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Born on April 29, 1945 in Alpena, Mich., he was the son of the late Sherman and Mary Furton Frary.
He was a retired employee of General Motors in Michigan and also retired from truck driving. He was affiliated with the Catholic faith.
He was united in marriage to Wilma Hoskins who preceded him in death and presently to Joyce Sparks Frary who survives.
He is also survived by three children, Natalie Quay and Katrina Frary of Flint, Mich., and Dale Leon Frary of Keavy, Ky., and their mother, Noreen Hahn Frary; stepchildren, Steven William Hoskins of Grafton, W.Va., and Melissa Kay and Jeffrey Frazier of Middlesboro, Ky.; two brothers, Harold Frary and David Frary of Alpena, Mich.; four grandchildren, Courtney, Sophia, Ethan Allen,and Kaitlin Frary; one great-grandchild, Jaxen; seven stepgrandchildren,Julie Hoskins Choate, John, Hannah, James and Charles Hoskins, Eric Parks and Seirra Frazier; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Besides his parents and first wife he was also preceded in death by a stepson, John Darrien Hoskins; and the following siblings, Donald, Gordon, Michael, James and Fred Frary.
Funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Combs officiating.
Entombment followed on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Green Hill Cemetery in Middlesboro, Ky.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. Monday until the 7 p.m. funeral hour.
