Alice Ingram Robinson

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Alice Ingram Robinson, 84, of East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Saint Joseph London.

She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Olin, Ky., the daughter of the late Hiram and Judith Campbell Ingram.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Greenmount Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Forester D. Robinson of East Bernstadt, who survives.  She is also survived by four children,  Foresteene Campbell and husband, Charles, of Hamilton, Ohio, Pamela Douglas and husband, J. P., of London, Howard Robinson and wife, Donna, of Haines City, Fla., and Don Robinson and wife, Joanna, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister:  Nellie Adkins and husband, Alson, of Deltona, Fla.; seven grandchildren,  Kimberly Schuermann and husband, Andrew, Andrea Thomas and husband, Lanier, Nicole Campbell, Quincy, Corey, Alyson and Erin Robinson, three great-grandchildren, Taylor Schuermann, Kalynne Elise Schuermann, and Campbell Elise Thomas, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.  

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by ten siblings,  Claude Ingram, Audrey Murray, Collis, Avis, Cecil, David, Cedric, Hiram Jr., and Paul Ingram and Alois Moore.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Claude Maggard officiating.  

Burial will follow in A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.

The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Saturday until the funeral hour.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Greenmount Baptist Church, c/o Sheila Hibbard, 454 Sugar Camp Road, London, Ky.,  40741.

Pallbearers will be  Charles Campbell, J. P. Douglas, Quincy Robinson, Corey Robinson, Lanier Thomas, Andrew Schuermann and Taylor Schuermann. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard and Don Robinson.
