Donnie Singleton

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Donnie Singleton, 68, of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Baptist Health Lexington.  

Born May 9, 1945, in Laurel County, Ky., he was the son of the late Jesse Ralph Singleton and Claudia Chesnut Singleton, who survives of London.  

He is also survived by his wife, Marva Hurley Singleton of London; a  son, Travis Singleton  and wife, Patricia of London; a sister, Wanda Nicholson and husband, Glen of London; and two special grandchildren, Eli and Emma Grace Singleton.

He was a truck driver and a member of Soul’s Harbor Church.

The family received friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

Funeral service was conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Elmore, Ronnie Ball and Gene Greene officiating.  

Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at East Bernstadt.

Pallbearers were Rick Durham, Darren Wyatt, Larry Lambdin, Tom Bowyer, Tommy Elza and Glen Nicholson.  

Honorary pallbearers were G.C. Garland, Charles Morgan, Doug Gregory and Don Cole.
