Ruth Hail

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Ruth Hail, 87, Southland Drive East, London, Ky., passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her residence.

Born Nov. 26, 1924 in Lexington, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Jessie Carl and Sara Mae (Anderson) Bowman. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church, London.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Wilma Kranz Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband, Seldon V. Hail, London; a daughter, Linda Hail, London; two sons, Bowman Hail and Robert Hail, both of London; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the 3:30 p.m. funeral hour today, Wednesday, Sept. 19 at First Presbyterian Church with Rich Fifield officiating.

Burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Ray Brown, Paul Claiborne, Jack Phelps, Gordon Lewis, Mike Bowling, Matthew Armstrong, James Hail and Robert Hail.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.

London Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
