James David Sims

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — James David Sims, 52, of East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at his residence.  

He is survived by a son, James David Asher Sims of East Bernstadt, Ky.; sisters, Brenda Lee Sue Simms and fiance’, Kent, and Crissy Norman and husband, Rob, both of London; brothers, Keith Dewayne Sims and wife, Diana of Winchester, Ky., and Kevin Darrell Sims and wife, Sandy of London.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Todd Martin officiating.  

Burial will follow in the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery in East Bernstadt.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, Wednesday at the funeral Home.
