LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Curtis Young, 67, of London, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at his residence.
He was a retired insurance adjustor and auto body repairman; member of Keavy Church of Christ, member of the McKee Lodge No. 144 F.&A.M., and a veteran of the Kentucky National Guard.
He leaves behind his mother, Bessie Young of London; two daughters, Michelle (Bob) Radtke of Versailles, Ky., and Amy Young of London; a son, Todd (Debbie) Campbell of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Barbara (Glenn) Hale and a brother, Kenny (Tammy) Young, both of Keavy; six grandchildren, Larry (Rebekah) Radtke, Katie Radtke, Riley Radtke, Madissen Campbell, Nicholas Campbell and Allyson Campbell; and four granddogs, Francis, Killer, Ramone and Ruby. He is also survived by a host of other family, friends and special pets to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Young; and one granddog, Hera, the Great Dane.
The family of Curtis Young will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec 4 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Don Stidham and Bill Browning officiating.
Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
