LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Phyllis Lee (Herbert) Tinker, 76, of Trenton, Ga., went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Eugene Tinker Jr.; son-in-law, Luke Skyles; mother and father, John Carl and Fannie Lee Herbert, and a brother, John Carl II.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Tinker Sr.; two sons, Harold Tinker of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Brad (Sherry) Tinker of Trenton, Ga.; daughter, Cynthia Ann Skyles, of Trenton, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Bennett and Betty Herbert, both of London; brother, Tommy (Dorothy) Herbert of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildern, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the chapel with the Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating.
She was laid to rest in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
