Delores Reo Hensley

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Delores Reo Watkins Hensley, 76, Littontown Road, East Bernstadt, Ky., passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Oak Tree Hospital, Corbin, Ky.

A native of Laurel County, she was born March 26, 1937, the daughter of the late Abraham Eversole and Goldie Eversole Watkins.

She was a homemaker and member of Parkway Praise Center, London.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Johnny Cloyd Miller and Charles Hensley; a daughter, Betty Lou Miller; and a brother, Ora Watkins.

 She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Engle of London, Loretta Louthan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Marlene Engle of Corbin; four sons, Tommy Gerald Miller, Shelby Dean Miller, John Vincent Miller, and Tommy Charles Miller, all of East Bernstadt; two sisters, Ola Vaughn of London, and Callie Harris of East Bernstadt; a brother, Woody Watkins of East Bernstadt.

She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral service for Delores Reo Hensley was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Carr officiating.

Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.
