LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Dennis Ray Spurlock, 62, of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at his residence.
Born Feb. 10, 1950, in Martin, Ky., he was the son of the late Clinton and Susan Humble Spurlock.
Survivors include his wife, Jodi Mills Spurlock of London, Ky.; six children, Heidi Spurlock Burnette (Todd) of Portland, Ore., Geoffrey Spurlock (Tonisha) of London, Travis Spurlock (Sarah) and Stephanie Bryson (Ben), all of Lexington, Ky., Jennifer Lawrence -Spurlock of London, and Kristopher Lawrence-Spurlock of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Also surviving are five sisters, Janice Fraley of Urbana, Ohio, Pauletta Sears and Lana Goble, both of London, Anna Belcher of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Gwen Langley of Knoxville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Caleb Bryson, Jaid Spurlock, Olivia Spurlock and Tate Spurlock.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kaitlyn Lawrence-Spurlock.
He was a mechanical engineer and was the retired plant manager and co-owner of CTA Acoustics.
Funeral services for Dennis Ray Spurlock were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Belcher and Jerry Foster officiating.
