LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Eva Faye Smallwood, 93, Watts Lane, London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.
Born Aug. 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Rose Fugate Jones. She was a homemaker and member of Lost Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville Smallwood; brothers, Amos Jones, Biram Jones, Murdy Jones, Adam Jones, and Earl Jones; and sisters Amy Childers and Effie Childers.
Survivors include her children, Orville Smallwood and wife, Libby, Don Smallwood and wife, Barbara, both of London, Barbara Ann Krantz and husband, Hal of Crestview Hills, Ky., and Brenda Sue Hatter and husband, Norman of Mt. Washington, Ky.; siblings, Rosemary Childers, Sylvania Spencer, Bob Jones, Ernest Junior Jones and William Jones, all of Wayneburg, Ky.; eight, grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jones of Hazard.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral hour Saturday, May 19 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Burchell officiating.
Burial followed in Providence Cemetery, Laurel County.
Pallbearers were Greg Smallwood, Mark Smallwood, Aaron Smallwood, Michael Smallwood, Ray Hatter, Adam Krantz and Jonathan Krantz.
