LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Karin D. Rush Blankenship. 30, Fugate Drive, London, Ky., passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
Born May 14, 1980 in Madison County, Ky., she was the daughter of James Calvin and Hazel Faye Southard Rush, London, Ky. She was a med surge nurse at Saint Joseph-London.
She is survived by her parents; her husband, Charles William “Butch” Blankenship, London, Ky.; children, Hayden Silas, James Evan, Aaron Clay and Piper Noelle Blankenship, all of London, Ky.; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Vickie Blankenship, London, Ky.; she was the granddaughter-in-law of Earl and Ollie Blankenship, London, Ky., and Jerry and Doris Reeves, Corbin, Ky.; and sister-in-law of Derek and Jessica Cornett, Versailes, Ky.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 9, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Miller and the Rev. Donald Tackett officiating.
Burial will follow in Rush Family Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be med surge nurses at Saint Joseph-London.
