LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Violet Huff Martin, 88 of London, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at her residence.
She was the widow of George Washington Martin.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, John Vincent Huff and Mollie Larkey Huff; and one child, Carol Ann Martin.
She is survived by four children, Judith Belle Martin; Phyllis Diane Martin; John Russell Martin; and Cheryl Ruth Martin, all of London, Ky.; and one brother, Billy Russell Huff of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was also blessed with a host of other relatives, church family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Violet Huff Martin will be conducted today, Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church of London, with Rev. Vernon Jarvis and Rev. Greg Gilpin officiating.
Burial will follow at Warren Grove Cemetery in London.
Visitation was held Thursday after 5 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of London.
House-Rawlings Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
