LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Cecil Ray Baker, 70, Keithshire Drive, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Heritage Nursing Home in Corbin, Ky.

Born March 27, 1942 in Leslie County, Ky., he was the son of the late Betty Sizemore Baker.

He was self-employed as the owner of Dove Medical, was a U.S. Army veteran and member of Faith Ministry Outreach.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and a sister, Betty Washington.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Baker, London; three children, Dana Michelle Baker, Tami Hughes, and Sandra Bankes, all of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Charles Baker of Columbia, Ky.; a sister, Mary Rose Baker of Marion, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 1 in the chapel of London Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Helton, Rev. Bobby Mullins, Rev. Mickey Roberts and Rev. Garland Gabbard officiating.

Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Lily.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hibbard, Brandon Hibbard, Shane Gabbard, Jamie Cummings, Dallas Morris, Randy Doty, Stephen Gabbard and Kenny Cawood.
