Chris “Big Daddy” Andrews

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Chris “Big Daddy” Andrews, was born Sept. 4, 1972 to Charles and Charlene Andrews. His body left us June 29, 2011, but his spirit will always be with us.

Chris was a son, a father, a brother and a friend. He was a proud member of the Nasty Dawgs, a group of crazy guys who loved to play ball.

Drews a.k.a “D.J. Drews” had many loves, but as many of you know, being a DJ was number one. He took great pride in mixing the music for everyone’s enjoyment.

Chris leaves behind to celebrate his life two wonderful children, Rashawn and Aleigha Andrews, London; his wife, Michelle Rush Andrews, London; two sisters, Christy Andrews, Lexington and Charlotte Andrews, London; brother, Charlie Andrews, Lexington; two nieces, Kassady Lynn Frederick and Jacera Kaneice Andrews, both of London; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; his brothers-in-heart, Bobby Kidd, Danny Pittman, Bill Grady, Richie Champion, Jamie McClain, Shawn Davis, Jimmy Evans, David Hood, David Byrd, Robbie and Jason Ramey, Marshall Leak III, and many others. He is also survived by a dear special friend, Desiree Poole.

Funeral services for Chris “Big Daddy” Andrews will be conducted Saturday, July 9 at 1 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Jackson and Pastor Ted Brewer officiating.

The family of Chris “Big Daddy” Andrews will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m on Saturday, July 9.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to London Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
