Willa Dean Ward


LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Willa Dean Ward, 71, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at her residence.

Born April 18, 1940 in Barbourville, the daughter of John B. and Rosa Belle McKnight Jones. She was a wife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Casey Brian Ward.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Ward of London; children, Robert (Judy) Ward, Terry Ward, and Frankie Ward, all of London, and Bruce (Shirlene) Ward of Annville, Ky.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Robin (Brad) Hacker, Stephanie (Donnie) Smith, Jona Ward and Kellie Ward; and three great-grandchildren, Kendall Hacker, Cameron Smith and Alexis Abigail Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Feb. 10 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home, with Bro. Vernon Jarvis and Bro. Roy Crawford officiating.

Burial will be in the Lickliter Cemetery, London.

Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
