Barbara Renee Hurley

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Barbara Renee Hurley, 36, of East Bernstadt, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Pittsburg.  

Born September 17, 1976, in Corbin, Ky., she was the daughter of Darrel Hurley of East Bernstadt and Mary Hillard (Ted) Young of Franklin, Ohio.  

She is also survived by two sons, Robert Ray Harrison and Toby Glen Harrison, both of East Bernstadt; four sisters, Tammy (Devin) Whitehead of Berea, Wanda (Michael) Thompson and Sherry Peters, all of East Bernstadt, and Sherry Miller of London; two brothers, Steve (Linda) Hillard and Delaney Cawood, all of East Bernstadt; nieces, Ashley Hurley of Ohio, Jessica Pennington of East Bernstadt, Alyssa Thomas and Amber Hasty, both of London; nephews, Darrel Thompson of East Bernstadt and Daetan Whitehead of Berea; great-niece, Addilyn Thomas of London; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.  

She was a medical assistant and a member of the Livingston Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Stewart officiating.  

Burial followed in the Andes Cemetery at East Bernstadt.

Pallbearers were Eric Sizemore, Jason Jarvis, Darrel Thompson, Jimmy Jarvis, Bobby Hurley, Aaron Snow, John Thompson Michael Pennington, John Gilbert and Roy Thomas.
