    When I started looking into the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index six months ago, I have to admit to feeling a little tired. I knew, after all, what the survey would say: We’re too overweight, smoke too much and have a lower socioeconomic standing than most. So, when half of the survey didn’t download correctly and I was left with Wingding font rather than the readable Arial, I was easily annoyed. Refusing to take the time to fix the download myself, I called Eric Nielsen, Gallup’s senior director of media strategies, to ask him what was up.
