South students receive nationwide music honor
The voices of Beth Collett, Shelbie Cooper and Jordan Allen will take them far this summer — a nine-hour drive to Washington, D.C., to be exact. The South Laurel High School students have been accepted in the Music Educators National Conference National Honor Choir, a distinction only given to about 80 students nationwide.
