LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Two people wanted on warrants — one of whom had been running from the law for three years — were captured on Tuesday.
Around 9 a.m., Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective and U.S. Marshal Warrant Task Force Officer Jason Back, accompanied by deputies from the London office of the U.S. Marshal Service went to Byrley Road, 12 miles south of London, to apprehend 21-year-old Rikki Neeley of Villagewood Court in London.
Neeley was wanted in Owsley County for a charge of possession of a controlled substance and in Whitley County for two separate warrants. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center following her arrest but was released that afternoon after posting a $400 cash bond.
Less than two hours later, Back and deputies from the U.S. Marshal Service took 35-year-old Shawn Faulkner of North Ky. 1223 in Corbin, into custody — also on Byrley Road, 12 miles south of London.
Faulkner was wanted on several warrants. He was the subject of a felony warrant for parole violation and in Laurel County for flagrant non-support for owing more than $8,500 in child support. Faulkner was also wanted on a warrant for third-degree terroristic threatening in Grayson County.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center following his arrest. Faulkner was not allowed bond.
