LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
A domestic argument that resulted in a relative being hurt has now become a felony indictment against a Laurel man.
Justin D. Parsons, 29, of 2221 Locust Grove Road in London, was indicted Friday for first-degree assault stemming from a May 20 incident in which he allegedly threw an axe, striking and injuring another man.
The events leading to the arrest of Parsons came with a domestic dispute between Parsons and his wife. Parsons was reportedly chasing his wife with an axe when the wife's uncle, Lowell Huff, intervened. Parsons then struck Huff in the chest.
Huff was flown to Saint Joseph London for his injuries. Parsons was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
