LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
The wife of London attorney Larry Gilliam surrendered to police Tuesday morning following her indictment last week for his murder.
Lisa Gilliam, accompanied by her attorney, arrived at the London City Police around 11:11 a.m. and was served with an indictment warrant on the charge of murder. She was transported to Laurel County Detention Center and, at press time, was in process of being booked. She was expected to post bond and be released that afternoon.
Larry Gilliam died of a single gunshot wound to the chest on Jan. 7 at his law office on East Fourth Street. Gilliam and his wife Lisa were reportedly the only persons in the office at the time of the incident.
