LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. —
Weaver’s Hot Dogs in London will be featured on KET’s Kentucky Life on April 6.
Host Dave Shuffett meets photographer John Cohen, who came to eastern Kentucky in the late 1950s and captured the region’s landscape, people, and music. He then travels to Laurel County, where Shuffett enjoys Today’s Special at the longtime London landmark, Weaver’s Hot Dogs.
The episode will also feature the Shepherdsville train crash of 1917, which is still regarded as the worst in Kentucky’s history, and Australian horse trainers, The Double Dans, of Nicholasville.
The program will air on KET on Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. EST and again on Sunday, April 7 at 4 p.m. EDT.
