BARBOURVILLE — A 22-year-old London man died Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Knox County.
At approximately 1:36 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from Knox County 911 of a single vehicle collision on KY 459 in Barbourville. Tpr. Kelly Farris responded to the scene and began an investigation.
Preliminary investigation indicates Jeremiah Jackson, 22, of London was traveling south on KY 459 while operating a 2015 Dodge Challenger. Jackson crossed the center line entering the northbound lane, then left the roadway striking a tree on the driver side of the vehicle.
Jackson was taken to Barbourville ARH by Knox County EMS where he was pronounced deceased.
Farris is continuing the investigation.
