Three people were taken to the hospital after this accident Tuesday evening on KY 770.

Two cars lay in mangled heaps, their drivers taken to the hospital, after a crash on KY 770 Tuesday evening.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Sean Dixon said Alexis House, of Corbin, was apparently driving east on KY 770 in her Pontiac Grand Prix when she lost control of her car.

“She has asthma and was having trouble breathing,” Dixon said. “She apparently lost control and swerved into the other lane of traffic.”

She slammed into Mary Parker’s Chevy Lumina, with both cars coming to a rest at the base of a rock face.

An unidentified female passenger also was riding with Parker and needed to be extricated.

All three women were taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center. House was admitted to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Parker was treated ad released.
