WHITLEY COUNTY — The North Laurel Jaguars saw their season come to an end in a heartbreaking 21-20 loss on Friday night to the Whitley County Colonels in first-round action of the Class 5A playoffs.

NORTH LAUREL — North Laurel had hopes of ending the regular season with a momentum-building win over Class 4A power Wayne County, but it wasn’t meant to be as the Cardinals scored 42 points in the first half before recording a 63-32 win over the Jaguars.
