The Cumberland Valley Bowl will have a new twist on it this year.

The games have been moved to Saturday, and will be held at South Laurel High School.

This year’s Computer Place Bowl between South Middle and North Middle’s eighth-grade teams will kickoff at 3 p.m., followed by the North Laurel-Knox Central game at 6 p.m., and the South Laurel-Williamsburg matchup at 8 p.m.

The Jaguars, fresh off their upset of 5A No. 9 Pulaski Co., look to open the season at 2-0 with a win over the Panthers of Knox Central, the preseason No. 7 team in Class 4A, according to Bluegrasspreps.com.

South Laurel hopes to rebound after its loss to 5A No. 8 Letcher Co. Central, but will face a talented Williamsburg team, ranked No. 8 in Class A.
